Electric part-turn actuators by AUMA are used where an
automatic, electrically operated movement with a swing angle of less than 360 °
has to be implemented as it is the case for valves like butterfly and ball
valves.
The further development of the reliable SG .1 type range and
its extension for the lower torque ranges by the SG .3 type
range, as well as the development of the ASR type range with
integral controls VARIOMATIC offers the customers a multitude of possibilities
to integrate actuators into the process control system. The adaptation to the
requirements of nearly every valve automation task is possible. |

Part-turn actuators SG .3 for open-close duty are rated for
short-time duty S2 - 15 min. A special version with reduced
torque is available for the S2 - 30 min duty.
The actuators can be combined with different controls from
the simple OPEN-CLOSE controls to the micro-controlled version with logging of
operating data or fieldbus interface.
The only exception is the SG 05.3 which is only available
with the SIMPACT controls.

Part-turn actuators SGR .3 are rated for intermittent duty S4 - 25%. Special
versions are also available for S4 - 50 % and S5 - 25 %.
The actuators can be combined with different controls from the simple

Electricity is available everywhere on every ship. For the power supply an AUMA
actuator does not need anything else. Hydraulic or pneumatic lines with their
auxiliary systems are no longer required. A significant advantage during
installation, without mentioning later service requirements.
The actuator and controls MEC are equipped with all the necessary components.
From limit switches and remote position transmitters right through to the
handwheel for emergency operation.
AUMA part-turn actuators SG are ideally suited for the automation of part-turn
valves such as
butterfly valves or ball valves. The compact design allows installation in
restricted areas. The variable speed motor allows simple setting of the
operating time on site.
